Lesion Excision

There are many types of benign (not harmful) growths that can occur on the eyelids and surrounding tissues. These are often of cosmetic concern to the patient, but may also block vision or cause symptoms such as irritation, burning, tearing or discomfort. Lesions can be excised in a variety of ways, including with the use of a laser. In the hands of board-certified fellowship-trained oculoplastic surgeon Katherine J. Zamecki, MD, FACS, lesion excision can result in an excellent result with minimal to no scarring.

Eyelid lesion removal may be covered by insurance. Call 203-791-2020 to schedule your lesion evaluation with Katherine J. Zamecki, MD, FACS.
